JOB SUMMARY

Supports operations and conducts data analytics projects to provide information and insights to stakeholders for decision-making or solution development. Implements data standards and deploys automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from different sources and transform data into usable metrics.

Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, a quantitative field or equivalent; and

  • Two years' experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops, maintains, manages, and troubleshoots advanced reporting, models, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI.

  • Constructs data sets, monitors data quality, troubleshoots, and resolves database issues to ensure data integrity.

  • Designs and supports ETL systems, maintenance processes, and related projects, writing code and/or using ETL tools.

  • Plans, executes, extends, utilizes, and troubleshoots data warehouse operations following system requirements and anticipated usage.

  • Reviews and improves existing systems and collaborates with teams to integrate new systems, while acting as liaison between information technology and business units.

  • Uses scripting, querying, visualization/BI tools, statistical methods, and data modeling to generate, QA, and deliver reports, data files, and dashboards to customers.

  • Collaborates with end-users and stakeholders to understand needs/objectives, gather requirements, ensure proper testing and validation, and documents final solution.

  • Provides training and assistance to users for generation of ad-hoc reports.

  • Stays current with Power BI updates, capabilities, and best practices.

  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Factory; familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, or Azure Machine Learning also a plus.

  • Familiarity with dbt, PowerShell, Python

TELECOMMUTE/HYBRID REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have access to adequate high-speed internet with a minimum download speed of 50 Mpbs, to ensure reliable, consistent connection to the company's network without interruptions.

  • Able to provide a safe, ergonomic, quiet, and distraction-free home office workspace.

  • Ability to work in an individual environment with remote support and without regular or consistent in person interaction.

  • Comfortable corresponding via phone and video for team interaction and development.

  • Professional conduct while performing the Company's business from a location outside of the Company's office will be held to the same standard as if the employee was in the office. While telecommuting, the employee remains obligated to comply with all job requirements and responsibilities, in addition to all Company rules, practices, instructions, applicable provisions, and policies.

  • Consistent with the Company's expectations of information security for employees working at the office, employee will protect Company information from unauthorized disclosure or damage and will comply with federal, state, and Company rules, policies, and procedures regarding disclosure of public and official records.

  • This position may be eligible for a telecommute or hybrid work arrangement.

  • May be required to maintain a valid driver's license.

  • Requires minimal travel (up to 10%).

  • Background check, MVR and drug screen may be required.
