Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Intelligence this position is responsible for delivering reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence solutions, as defined by the Associate Director of Business Intelligence that support the mission of the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. A person in this position primarily develops and maintains queries, selections, exports, and export definitions in the Blackbaud CRM database. This position also assists in developing & maintaining dashboards, visualizations, and reports. This position also occasionally facilitates training of query users within the Blackbaud CRM database. The position is responsible for assisting end-user support for the UGA fundraising system, GAIL-Giving and Alumni Information Link (Blackbaud CRM). This position involves troubleshooting, problem solving, collaboration, and the ability to work effectively with campus users and internal staff. Confidentiality is essential in dealing with alumni/donor records and sensitive information.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Understanding of data systems
Experience or exposure to analytic tools, such as Tableau, Qlik, and PowerBI
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to analyze data, troubleshoot, and problem solve
Strong organization, prioritization, time management skills, and ability to multi-task
Strong reading comprehension skills
Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively and professionally with a variety of persons

Complete GAIL (Blackbaud CRM) query and export tasks assigned through ticketing or project management solution within appropriate deadlines using GAIL (Blackbaud CRM). Log all requests in ticketing system or project management solution.

Complete reports, dashboards, analytic solutions, and other tasks assigned through ticketing or project management solution within appropriate deadlines. Log all requests in ticketing system or project management solution.

Assist in training query users on the query tool and all associated tasks such as export definitions and export processes.
Percentage of time 5 Duties/Responsibilities
Provide 1st line support for end users of GAIL (Blackbaud CRM) and supported analytic solutions through ticketing system and/or project management system.

Continuously develop technical skillsets related to analytic and reporting platforms, such as Tableau or Qlik, supported and utilized by the division.
Actively review and participate in relevant online user groups.
Research and utilize best practices that promote accuracy, security, usability, and performance.
Utilize relevant online resources and trainings to stay current on new platform enhancements and best practices.
