The Opportunity:

We're looking for a Business Intelligence and Analytics Specialist II to join our vibrant Advancement & Partnerships Division. In this role, you'll use your data and tech skills to help drive our mission forward. You'll support big-picture projects, streamline processes, and be a key player in our strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Business Process Documentation:

• Dive into UCF Advancement's data world and understand our systems.

• Spot areas where we can do better and document these processes.

• Keep our end-user documentation clear and up to date.

• Ensure our reports and systems follow the same standards.

Report and Dashboard Creation:

• Team up with experts to create awesome reporting tools and queries.

• Develop and tweak reports and dashboards to meet our team's needs.

• Create visual representations of workflows and processes.

Testing and Data Validation:

• Ensure our reporting projects meet quality standards.

• Validate data during migrations and updates.

• Test new tools and applications and keep documentation current.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree and/or experience in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or similar roles.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Strong understanding of SQL and database management.
