As a Business Intelligence & Analytics Associate at Vettery, you will dive deep into the company's vast datasets to draw meaningful and actionable conclusions. Vettery is undergoing rapid growth and changes, requiring a data-driven approach to scalability across all aspects of the business. Your work will involve collaboration with several parts of the organization as you work with senior-level team members in order to understand their needs and pain-points. You'll have a significant opportunity to create products such as dashboards, reports, and analyses that will be used on a regular basis by key stakeholders.

Who you are:

  • 4-5+ years of experience in analytics (or related field)

  • Extensive experience gathering, analyzing, and acting on data for the betterment of a company

  • Understand not only how products work but also why they work the way they do

  • Adept at SQL and comfortable working with business intelligence platforms and visualization tools

  • Excel at communicating complex ideas to people of different backgrounds and able to effectively understand a stakeholder's position, putting yourself in their place to devise intuitively useful output

  • Passionate about helping people and care deeply about improving the recruiting experience

  • Bachelors in the analytics field preferred

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deeply understand their needs and take the initiative to pinpoint avenues to leverage data to improve their processes

  • Build and improve clever products, including dashboards and reports, that will give insight into areas previously unexplored

  • Develop data-driven strategic proposals that have far-reaching impacts on the company's growth

  • Enhance Vettery's current data capabilities by devising new metrics and items to track, as well as ensure proper maintenance of existing data integrity

  • Formulate a roadmap of actionable milestones that lead towards a long-term vision of upending the recruiting industry

  • Manage BI requests and parcel them out

As the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence team, we are responsible for driving analytics throughout the organization to improve our products, engage better with our customers, create greater efficiencies, and drive new businesses by providing insights into the data. Can you change the way our business works? Our data captures the who, what, when, where and why of how our clients use Bloomberg products, how our systems execute, and how our employees engage with our customers. We are responsible for ingesting and preparing massive amounts of data for reporting, dashboards, self-service and advanced analytics. Are you motivated to build robust and scalable systems to handle petabytes of data, with billions of new data points being ingested daily? Are you a hands-on Senior ETL architect and developer who is excited to tackle the challenges that come with working on large volumes of diverse data with complex business rules? A key objective of this role is for you to help is to build an enterprise level data analytics platform using industry standard concepts against our Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Big Data environments. Are you excited to innovate in an environment that combines traditional warehouse technologies, MPP databases and Hadoop? In order to be successful: * You should have a working knowledge of industry standard Data Infrastructure (e.g. Warehouse, BI, Analytics, Big-Data, etc.) tools with the goal of providing end users with analytics at the speed of thought. * You should be proficient at developing, architecting, standardizing and supporting technology platforms using Industry leading ETL solutions. * You should thrive in building scalable, high throughput systems that process more than 10 billion data points a day. * You must have strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills. * You should have experience with agile BI & ETL practices to assist with the interim Data preparation for Data Discovery & self-service needs. * You should be highly motivated to drive innovations company-wide. You'll need to Have: * 5+ years of experience in ETL tools. Specific expertise in implementing Informatica in an Enterprise environment is a plus. * Advanced SQL capabilities are required.
