JOB SUMMARY Under general supervision of the Director, Revenue Integrity, the Analyst will assist with Report Development and Data Extraction for various programs and ad-hoc reporting projects.# The primary role of this position will be the Data Expert for all departments related to revenue and finance.# The position will use various software applications such as desktop tools, spreadsheets, report writing software, statistical software, and graphical presentation tools to assemble, manipulate and format data.# This position will support the Health Information Management (HIM), Revenue Cycle, Revenue Integrity, and Finance Departments with data extraction and analysis of the accuracy of data to support project needs.


This position will assist with projects related to data analysis as needed

Internal and external customers. # PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Promotes revenue operational efficiency, data integrity and compliance within regulatory guidelines. Expert in data gathering and analysis through strong database knowledge including design, optimization and performance. Generates reports for internal and external customers for business performance monitoring and business decision making.# Prepare routine reports, visuals, and other on-going data information as requested for internal and external use including dashboards and metrics. Analyzes and resolves issues related to reports and data for accuracy of data. Assist in the on-going validation and integrity of data selection for reporting purposes. Provides extensive data analysis and report preparation for Revenue and Finance leadership. Provides Project management support for Revenue and Finance Management and the variety of related projects including analysis of process and procedures related to reporting needs for process improvement. Support end user reporting training as needed. Must be able to work effectively with others and complete tasks within specified deadlines. Demonstrates knowledge of and supports hospital mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality statements, corporate compliance plan, customer service standards, and the code of ethical behavior. # # DEPARTMENTAL AND ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ######################################################################### # JOB SPECIFICATIONS EDUCATION Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor#s Degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare or a Technical field required. Experience with Expanse - preferred. EXPERIENCE Experience with project management and demonstrated analytical skills- highly desired. Ability to prioritize workload; demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently. Knowledge of various health insurance payment structures, DRG, APC, per diem etc.- preferred. Working knowledge of Hospital billing systems and Practice management systems preferred. Data analytics using SQL, Python, Tableau programs - strongly preferred Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and advanced level experience in Microsoft Excel is required.
