Business Intelligence Analyst

About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This role combines expertise in data analysis, Python scripting, SQL databases, Azure Data Factory, PowerBI, and predictive analytics tools such as Akkio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing our customer experience through insightful data analysis and predictive modeling, ensuring our business decisions are data-driven and customer-centric.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality using SQL databases and Azure Data Factory.

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports using PowerBI.

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Predictive Analytics:

• Utilize predictive analytics tools like Akkio to forecast future trends and behaviors, helping the company anticipate customer needs and behaviors.

• Develop predictive models that help improve customer experiences and business outcomes.

Python Scripting:

• Use Python scripting for data manipulation and analysis, automating workflows and enhancing data processing capabilities.

Customer Experience Enhancement:

• Analyze customer feedback and interaction data to identify areas for improvement in the customer journey.

• Work closely with the customer service team to implement data-driven strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

• Collaboration and Integration:

• Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate analytics solutions into the operational processes.

• Work with various stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver comprehensive data insights.

Requirements

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

• 1 year of proven experience as a business data analyst preferred.

• Strong experience in Python scripting and familiarity with Python data libraries (Pandas, NumPy) as well as using various AI driven tools to generate scripts.

• Experience with SQL databases and data warehouse solutions.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for data integration and workflow management18.

• Proficiency in using PowerBI for creating dynamic dashboards and reports.

• Experience with predictive analytics tools such as Ikigai and Akkio, and an understanding of machine learning concepts20.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
