Job Responsibilities
Maintains a high level of excellence in teaching by communicating and interacting effectively with students enrolled in courses within the accounting program area. Utilize prepared materials and assignments required for course instruction, testing, and documented student learning outcomes.
Keeps student records and adheres to course schedules. Uses the D2L/Brightspace learning management systems to communicate with students, faculty, and staff. Participates in the collection of student learning outcomes data.
Assists the Accounting Program Director with timely notification of any course issues related to instruction. Conducts lectures, discussions, and other teaching activities. Provides students with the course syllabus/addendum and correlates graded assignments with skill and course competency.
Submits grades, reports, and records in a timely manner. Remains current in field.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master's degree in business administration or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in a related area. Minimum of 3 years appropriate work experience in Management/Marketing and at least 1 year teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Logisitics and exposure to ERP software.
