The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

The main responsibility of the Business Insight Engineer is to work closely with business process owners and Information Technology teams to develop data solutions for KLA Global Support and Services.

A Business Insight Engineer will drive projects that improve operational excellence, grow revenue, and improve customer satisfaction. The right candidate will be multifaceted, upbeat individual who is very passionate about delivering rich and powerful solutions that drive meaningful decisions, quality, and significant improvement in business results.

The position responsibilities include: Gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements, validating and solving data issues, crafting project plans, developing logic and application solutions, and following through to ensure successful adoption while achieving the planned improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage SQL/Python to extract appropriate data and perform data wrangling.

• Analyze data to generate business insights and identify Key performance indicators.

• Enable business to generate new business insights by designing new reports, views, dashboards, and other data products.

• Partner multi-functionally to design, plan and implement data products/program.

• Liaison between Business and the IT teams

• Create requirements and project plans for analytics program.

• Ensure Service data standards are implemented for data products - including Object level Security, Row Level Security, UI standards and others.

• Build communication plans that ensure awareness of new data products and features.

• Define and govern standard business dimensions, measures, and critical metrics and drive multi-functional alignment of key definitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Finance, Data Science, Data Analytics or IT

• Experience in Financial and/or Information Technology (IT)

• Strong business insight

• MS Office applications (MS Excel/Access) and VBA & Macro programming

• Proficient in building or prototyping SW models, algorithms and wrangling large data sets.

• Proficient in SQL, and/or Python.

• Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, or any data visualization tool

• Good communication and visualization skills; build powerful visualizations to transform data into easily-consumable, relevant insights.

Knowledge of and curiosity about the latest trends in data industry, including evaluating and testing new tools, techniques, and framework

Minimum Qualifications

Typically Master's Level Degree or work experience of 0 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 1 years
