Position Summary

InSight Telepsychiatry is looking to fill the position of Business Innovations Manager with a candidate who has demonstrated experience developing world class sales teams that excel in complex scenarios. This person will have responsibility for managing national accounts and a field-based business development team of account executives. The ideal candidate is passionate about coaching and developing the expertise of the team, and is motivated by meaningful and complex work. The Business Innovations Manager should be a natural leader who will collaborate with prospects, partners, payers, referral sources, providers and team members all across the country to deliver high quality behavioral health care through telehealth. Approximately 20% of the Business Innovations Manager's effort will be devoted to developing and fostering relationships with national accounts. This person will report to the Director of Business Innovations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee sales team activity, customer service and market presence

  • Lead ongoing development of sales team expertise

  • Develop and leverage relationships with national accounts such as health systems

  • Contribute to and participate in opportunities to advance InSight's thought leadership position

  • Collaborate with Director of Business Innovations and Director of Strategy to contribute to development of sales strategy, market positioning and messaging

  • Contribute to the process for determining benchmarks and sales targets

  • Collaborate with operations, talent, medical affairs, and other departments to exceed partner expectations

  • Facilitate alignment and partnership across all of InSight's business development activities

  • Review and approve time and expenses for account executives

  • Set and measure progress towards goals, benchmarks and quotas for sales team

  • Directly manage account executives

  • Responsible for daily supervision, coaching, training, compensation and performance management.

  • Review and approve proposals and RFP responses

  • Conduct performance reviews and coach team members to maximize their strengths and maximize their potential

  • All other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in health services administration, business administration or related field

  • At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry

  • At least 2 years of experience within a growing healthcare company

  • At least 2 years of experience in a management role

  • At least 2 years of experience in the behavioral health field

  • Experience selling and growing a tech-enabled services company

  • Experience using Salesforce

  • Up to 75% travel

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds an MBA

  • Telehealth experience

  • Five plus years in behavioral health

  • Five plus years of experience managing a team

Working closely with Marketing and Demand Generation, the Area Sales Manager is tasked with identifying, qualifying and nurturing new revenue opportunities within their assigned territories and line of business. A good understanding of the corporate financial business processes, with a particular emphasis on Accounts Payable Automation (invoice and payment processing) is required. Joining this team will expect mastery of an engaging, consultative, and team selling process that promotes delight in both existing and prospective customers. This motivated and multi-talented individual works closely with our Vice President of Paymode-X Business Solutions - compensation for the position is comprised of base salary along with commission-based components. Responsibilities * Make calls to generate qualified meetings through cold calling, responding to inbound calls, following up with leads generated by various marketing programs, sales campaigns and target account prospecting. * Leverage online tools and databases such as LinkedIn, Jigsaw, etc. as well as the Web to research account/contact information and add value to our in-house databases for future programs. * Manage and nurture demand generation pipeline leads and opportunities in a specified region and/or line if business; ensure progression of opportunities through the sales funnel. * Develop and execute account strategies to maximize opportunities to meet monthly/quarterly quotas combined with weekly forecasting. * Provide consultative selling and work with customers to build out business case justification, return of investment and response to RFP's. * Understand Bottomline's products, value proposition, and positioning; stay informed on industry trends and our competition's positioning within the marketplace. * Provide qualitative feedback to colleagues in sales and marketing to optimize campaign performance and improve future outreach efforts. * Track all lead activity, monitor leads/opportunities, and generate reports using Salesforce to demonstrate progress against personal and team goals. * Up to 40% of travel time is required: on-site customer appointments, sales meetings, field sales events such as industry trade shows and Bottomline customer forums. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience. * A competitive attitude. * Analytical and problem solving skills required, combined with the ability to think quickly to overcome objections. * Must believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability and initiative, but be able to work independently as well. * Proven history of meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
