This Business Initiatives Consultant 3 (Risk Mitigation Initiatives) will lead and manage merchant services risk mitigation initiatives and programs. The individual will manage risk/compliance initiatives and programs to support operational, process improvement, change management, vendor/digital property management, records management, issue monitoring/reporting, EUCT/Model management monitoring/reporting and audit coordination. This is a critical role to ensuring that our product management organization is complying with enterprise risk policies and ensuring any required corrective measures follow enterprise guidelines and meet required deadlines.

  • Lead initiatives/programs with other partners including vendors/3rd parties

  • Provide direction to support achievement of initiatives/programs, and manage/adjust completing priorities against business objectives

  • Manage program initiatives for risk and control efforts that may have multiple enhancements, deliverables, and timelines. May also include development of business requirements, task plans, issue logs, etc.

  • Will develop metrics such as project scorecards, project plans to manage and track performance of initiatives and programs. Will develop business cases, competitive research, and executive summaries to provide update on overall status to senior management.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
  • 6+ years of financial services industry experience

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

CA-SF-Financial District: Min: $113,400 Mid: $162,000

NY-New York: Min: $113,400 Mid: $162,000

DE-Wilmington: Min: $104,000 Mid: $148,500

TX-DAL-Downtown Dallas: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000

GA-Atlanta: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000

NC-Charlotte: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000

IA-Des Moines: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000

The Deposit and Credit Bureau Management Office (DCBMO) is currently seeking a Business Support Consultant to join the Strategy & Integration team to coordinate initiatives requiring technology support. In this role, the successful candidate will be able to navigate technology intake processes/tollgates while working with business leads and product owners to drive prioritization and deliverables to meet specified implementation time frames, including associated issue management expectations. Additionally this role will be responsible for assessing changes initiated by other business groups and technology teams to determine impact to DCBMO systems and processes. This is an Individual Contributor role that requires knowledge of consumer lending technology systems of record (SORs), credit bureau functions and/or associated laws (FCRA, FACTA) as well as experience with agile technology delivery methodologies. This role will focus on/be responsible for, but not limited to: * Partnering with Issue Management leads to identify technology impacts associated with owned corrective actions including identification of impacted SORs * Working closely with Corrective Action Owner and/or project sponsor and designated subject matter experts to determine high level scope of technology needs to support initial completion dates within the Issue Management process * Manage requests with relevant stakeholders (technology, product owner, business excellence/change management) to ensure required artifacts are created and tollgates are met to ensure initiatives meet delivery dates * Work with subject matter experts as needed to attend any required agile ceremonies including refinement sessions in support of the work efforts * Coordinate with Group Portfolio Delivery processes to establish tracking/funding and secure any required project management support * Maintain status reporting leveraging appropriate enterprise tools including Jira, Confluence and SHRP * Attend intake reviews, refinement sessions or other similar processes for external technology teams supporting DCBMO related initiatives * Provide input and support for ongoing 6-quarter technology roadmaps and associated technology investment needs * Act as the representative for the cross functional impact team (CFIT) function on behalf of the DCBMO. Review newly submitted change controls and identify if there is impact to the department through partnering with key members of the operational groups within the DCBMO. * Utilizes knowledge of the business unit's functions and business needs to identify impacts to systems or processes resulting from external change or projects.
