Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo's more than 70 million global customers.

The Building Systems Group (BSG) of Corporate Properties Group (CPG) is seeking a Business Initiatives Consultant 2 to help support building technology lifecycle processes and service delivery across all property types globally managed by CPG. The position will work closely with facility engineering groups to aid in delivery of compliant building technology systems including modern-day control systems (HVAC, lighting, irrigation, etc.), as well as interface with Information Technology to support governance and compliance efforts related to cybersecurity of building technologies and provide subject matter expertise to facility and technology project teams.

Responsibilities include:

Areas of responsibility include BSG Technology process development, construction and up-fit project reviews, Wells Fargo internal process coordination and participation, building operational technology target operating model tasks and technology governance and oversight. In addition, the role will frequently interface with representatives from corporate technology, corporate risk and international lines of business to ensure all system of record elements are held in full policy compliance. The position participates in the research of new technologies for general fit and compliance to corporate needs. Due to the global footprint of Wells Fargo facilities, outside of standard business hour meetings and calls are required from time-to-time.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
  • 1+ years of Tridium Niagara experience

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Microsoft Visio experience

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Industrial Control design and installation

  • Niagara 4 certified

  • Proven command/knowledge of building automation systems to include: HVAC, Electrical Power Monitoring Systems, Fire Detection and Suppression

Performs work across the whole project/technology asset lifecycle and across multiple business units that require the design of cross-product technical solutions. Partner with the Business and Technology, serving as a central point of contact between the two organizations. The primary focus is on the proactive identification, assessment, recording, and prioritization of business needs/requirements. Expected to analyze client's business processes, develop business relationships across all business and technology organizations and participate in strategic planning. Accountable for supporting the ITAM Hardware process improvement initiatives including process gap assessments, root cause identification and remediation planning. Support asset lifecycle process improvements to include to providing control evidence, data baselining and analysis for all phases of an asset's lifecycle. Support all ITAM Hardware Initiatives. Responsibilities: * Establishes strong working relationships with team members; all functions within Technology; and across the business as appropriate * Consults with businesses to effectively drive business strategies forward through the optimal use of technology * Identifies, assesses, and records near-term business needs, recommending business priorities, and advising businesses on options, risks, and costs versus benefits * Creates Functional, Non-Functional business and technical requirement documents * Analyze current processes, rationalize and develop standard process documents in Visio * Creates work instructions that will be used for training material. * Communicates business priorities to the technology organization accordingly, in order to drive effective business solutions * Researches to determine if solutions to business needs currently exist within or outside the business unit, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible * Analyzes business processes, products and operations to create detailed business requirements.
