As a Barclays Business Security Information Officer, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring that the Group continues to comply with all Global cyber security regulatory requirements. This is an opportunity to interface with colleagues across all Three Lines of Defence to deliver a framework that is adaptable to the cyber security regulatory environment, inclusive of both ongoing compliance and emerging regulatory requirements.
Barclays is one of the world's largest and most respected financial institutions, established in 1690, with a legacy of success, quality, and innovation. We've helped millions of individuals and businesses thrive, creating financial and digital solutions that the world now takes for granted. An important and growing presence in the USA, we offer careers providing endless opportunity.
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Designing and implementing an engagement plan in support of the existing and future cyber security regulatory framework, working closely with other areas in the business
Providing assistance to the management of cyber security compliance and regulatory projects, including assessing the impact of new legislation and regulations
What we're looking for:
Proven track record of successfully managing a large portfolio of regulatory engagement activity, with detailed knowledge of cyber security regulatory requirements
Proficient in the development and use of multiple platforms (e.g. SharePoint and Tableau) to deliver self-service MI & Reporting functionality
Exceptional organisational skills, with previous experience of working in a complex matrix-managed environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex and detailed topics to a wide variety of audiences including senior leaders
Skills that will help you in the role:
