Business Information Analyst Internship - Summer 2024

Description

The Business Information Analyst Intern is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data related to one or several but very similar business metrics.

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

• Creating databases to track business performance.

• Developing and analyzing business performance reports (e.g., for claims data, provider data, utilization data)

• Collecting and analyzing data to create summary statistics of performance

• Creating and publishing periodic reports as well as any necessary ad hoc reports

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day for the duration of the summer internship program

• Currently enrolled in a BA or BS , or Informatics undergraduate-level program at an accredited college/university.

• Graduation date between August 2024 to May 2025.

• Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills

• Ability to work both collaboratively in team settings and independently
