LMI is seeking qualified candidates for positions working for the United States Navy Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (Navy PEO EIS). Navy PEO EIS provides enterprise business information systems, applications, and networks that support Sailors, Marines and civilian workforce around the globe for the Department of Navy.ResponsibilitiesProgram planning and financial management support outlined below: * Provide support in the development and refinement of special cost estimates. * Prepare financial reports and/or coordinate responses on all requests for program budgetary information for acquisition documentation updates or acquisition related data calls. * Provide initial budgetary products and updates to draft President's OSD/Financial Management & Budget (FMB) budget exhibits for all applicable appropriations. * Prepare President's/OSD/FMB, and IT budget exhibits in initial, draft, and final formats within the time required to support PMW and PEO schedules. * Prepare budget exhibits that include all applicable special exhibits, such as Budget Object Classifications (BOCS), IT Budget and associated briefs, and the IT exhibit 300. * Compile, track and analyze financial performance metrics and provide detailed reports, charts, and graphs in the format and timeframe prescribed. * Assist the Government in translating planning decisions for out-year resource requirements into detailed, time phased allocation requests during the Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) submissions. * Prepare, review, and verify Appropriation and IT Budget Exhibits in support of the DON Budget Review, Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) Review, and the President's Budget submission to Congress. * Assist the Government in annual requirements generation, prioritization, and spend plan development process. * Prepare and provide guidance and assistance to Program Managers/Project Leads in the development of reclamas and issue papers. Draft budget exhibits and prepare and coordinate IT 300 Reports, R-DOCs, P-DOCs, and OP-5 exhibits. * Draft spreadsheets, reports (to include Navy ERP), and conduct analysis for short and long-range budget requirements. * Prepare and provide recommendations to justify and defend budgets during all required annual and periodic budget submissions. * Assist the Government in developing and maintaining Program/Project requirements and resource planning data. * Update cost planning data in financial planning tools, to include Navy ERP, for PMO requirements. * Develop/prepare and review future year financial program plans. * Develop financial aspects of POA&M. * Conduct financial analysis and financial risk analysis identifying and evaluating financial risks and recommend management techniques to mitigate risk exposure.Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration* 3 or more years demonstrated experience in DoD/Navy financial management * Experience with stakeholder engagement/coordination throughout the budget cycleDOD Top Secret security clearance is required for this position

Job Responsibilities: * Cultivate strong relationships with members by consistently using the prescribed sales process. * Provide fee based financial planning and asset management to members. Grow Assets under Management (AUM) by offering a breadth of financial solutions. * Cultivate strong working relationships and trust among credit union staff by conducting regular training, attendance/participation at credit union staff meetings and functions and sending referrals back to the credit union. * Effectively deliver multiple services and expertise to clients by providing professional fee-based advice, financial planning and asset management. * Effectively implement/leverage technology and other available investment tools and resources to provide clients an exceptional member experience on a consistent basis. * Meet or exceed credit union cross selling goals as established in the credit union commitment letter. Meet or exceed production goals, with an appropriate product mix. Collaborate with credit union, create and execute on an annual marketing plan. * Pursue member feedback regarding their experience including the process and the outcome. * Adhere to all FINRA and insurance rules and regulations, as well as to all company policies. Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent trade off in professional work experience. * 3-5 years successful financial services sales experience; with a verifiable commission history of at least $150,000 Gross Dealer Concessions. * Life, health and variable insurance license. * FINRA Securities Industry Essentials Examination, Series 7, 63 and IAR (65/66 or appropriate designation) registrations. * LUTCF, CLU, ChFC or CFP designation preferred. * Demonstrated ability to effectively build business relationships with diverse clients. * Demonstrated ability to translate complex information, create and deliver an effective message scaled to appropriate audience. * High level oral and written communication skills. * For individuals new to this role: * Have a satisfactory background check and securities registration with our licensed broker-dealer and/or verify all required insurance licensing. * Have all outside business activity reviewed to ensure no conflicts of interest exist and applicable regulatory requirements are met #LI-EG CUNA Mutual Group's insurance, retirement and investment products provide financial security and protection to credit unions and their members worldwide.
