The Solution Delivery Organization within Cigna is responsible for launching new solutions in the marketplace. The organization is transitioning to Agile to further advance our ability to innovate for our customers. Within Solution Delivery, a small, highly focused team (Value Management & Metrics) is at the forefront of analyzing and making recommendations to help accelerate Cigna's strategy.
The Value Management team is responsible for:
Supporting senior leaders make informed decisions on the strategic priorities by providing financial analysis and actionable metrics
Reporting out business outcomes from strategic investments
Analyzing the progress of strategic investments and providing recommendations to course correct, when necessary
As a Lead Analyst on this team, you will have responsibility for assisting in performing necessary analytics and quantification for the above mentioned items.
The person will assist senior Value Management team members for the following areas depending on team priorities and availability:
Develop, maintain and regularly report on metrics and scorecards to measure performance
Assist in building matrix partnerships to help define the right metrics & operationalize the process for the future
Collect data and perform analysis to generate actionable insights in order to influence behavior and practices of teams to realize better performance
Analytics and business case development, including advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis:
Support in maintaining analytic models to help strategic partners answer key questions for current and future strategies
Consolidate and manage large sets of data
Analyze and model scenarios on an ad hoc basis; capacity modelling experience desired
Ongoing reporting on existing business cases
Senior management communications:
Develop executive-level presentations and other materials
Explore, collect, clean and analyze data
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, HealthCare or other related field preferred
Proficient in use of MS Office suite especially Excel (intermediate level required) and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Tableau and Access desired.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously and quickly adapt to change in focus or priorities
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with ability to analyze complex information and draw relevant conclusions
Dealing with complexity, ambiguity and able to adapt to a steep learning curve
Strong communication & presentation skills with the ability to convey complex and technical information to a non-technical audience
Curious and always strive towards continuous improvement
