Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida is looking for a Business Engineering Analyst II - Hybrid Schedule (3 days a week in the office).

The Business Engineering Analyst II will bring knowledge on the business processes and data systems involved in the design, development, and release to manufacturing for new product introductions and sustaining engineering. This position will work cross functionally as needed with IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions to ensure secure storage of engineering drawings, specifications and accurate product data for manufacturing and engineer to order competencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, configure, administer, and maintain the Engineering Applications across the enterprise.
Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
Interface with technical and non-technical business users to understand complex business process needs, and translate into functional and technical application, data, and reporting requirements documents.
Gather business and system requirements via interviews and analysis of current systems, reports, and data.
Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements, forming project teams, and establishing project budgets.
Support and/or Lead project work as required by leadership, such as performing tasks, updating project schedule with status and reporting issues, etc.
Monitor project progress by tracking activities, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.
Provide expert functional guidance including configuration review and setup, functional troubleshooting, setup changes, and data analysis.
Create key project artifacts including functional specifications, configuration documents, user acceptance plan, and promotion instructions.
Assist with defining data models that properly integrate reporting data from the appropriate enterprise systems.
Promote system changes (including patches) following change control practices and assist with evolving departmental processes.
Knowledge of API capabilities for integrating Engineering applications with other system tools.
Takes ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams when necessary.
Ability to create documentation such as, but not limited to: SOPs, How To's and Process Training, etc.
Contribute to building a positive team spirit and ONETEAM culture while embodying the Team Values daily.
Perform other related duties, as directed by IT Leadership team.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.
Contribute to building a positive enterprise culture and communicate effectively with all employees.
Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of 3rd parties.
Travel: Less than 15%.
Weekend/late night work if applicable: Occasionally.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

The leader must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (BS) from four-year college or university; in a field related to technology, such as Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Software Engineering or Cyber Security.

At least five (5) years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Includes progressive IT experience.

Any Special Skills/Training/Certifications:

Novice knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio) is preferred.
Novice =>Advanced knowledge of System/Database Administration, Windows Server Provisioning/Administration, OKTA, SAP, CREO, TIBCO, PowerAPPS, SQL, IIS, Visual Studio, Rest API, Asp.net, C#, .NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML & XML.
Advanced knowledge in administration, configuration and maintenance of PTC Windchill, ThingWorx systems and SDx.

PTC Windchill (11.1 or later) / ThingWorx systems specific knowledge including but not limited to:

Advanced knowledge with product lifecycle management (PLM) and Internet of Things (IoT) concepts.
Advanced knowledge with Citrix Desktop as a Service (DAAS) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) concepts and best practices.

SDx specific knowledge including but not limited to:

Advanced knowledge in API capabilities, workflow configuration and customization skills to implement custom processes.
Novice knowledge in SDx configuration and customization skills to implement new actions, API entry points, roles, access group, Rel Def, Edge Def, column items and column sets.
Novice knowledge of integration of SDx with enterprise applications like SAP, Primavera etc.
Novice knowledge experience of configuring systems for tag management, data capture, custom document loaders and relationship configuration between objects.
Foundational working knowledge of the various tools like SP3D, SPPID, SPI and SPEL to support integration with SDx.
Foundational working knowledge in installation, configuration, and integration SPF, SDX, SPO, SDV, IM and Web Client.

Foundational working knowledge of SDx architecture front end and backend.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills. Ability to write business correspondence, present information, and respond to questions from stakeholders.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
