Axient is seeking a Business Development/Capture Manager to join our Space Segment team. Work location is anticipated to be a remote position with travel.

Minimum Requirements and Desired Experience:
10+ years knowledge of general business development or capture processes is preferred.
5+ years of related experience working in the National Capital Region market supporting a Space Force customer, program office, or contract.
Bachelor's Degree
Strong mastery of customer relationship management processes.
The versatility, leadership skills, and initiative to help identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Strong interpersonal skills - oral, written, and listening are crucial.
Ability to effectively communicate technical and management capabilities and experience with customers and teaming partners.
Must currently have or must be eligible to obtain a DoD security clearance at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
Highly desirable:
Strong relationships within Air Force and USSF including AFRL, AFLCMC, Space Systems Command, Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM), and Space Operations Command (SpOC).
US Air Force Space or DoD service
Secret clearance
Ability to travel
