Job Summary and Key Responsibilities
The Business Development VP drives the implementation of key partnership initiatives that make transformational impact to Citi's consumer banking businesses. The ideal candidate will be able to establish strong working relationships across Citi and with the Global Networks partners and manage multiple priorities on a day-to-day basis as it relates to the networks partnerships. Key responsibilities include:
Perform research and analysis to identify and validate new transformational partnership opportunities for Global Consumer Bank across Data and Analytics, Products and Services and Marketing and Advertising verticals.
Develop business cases for the key growth initiatives that support the strategic priorities of Global Consumer Bank.
Provide overall project management support for the prioritized initiatives - including developing timelines, key milestones, project KPIs and communication to internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with Citi business and partner resources to drive the prioritized initiatives forward
Develop a deep understanding of partner's asset and solutions that are being implemented and how they add value to Citi
Conduct research on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, and competitor intelligence
Have excellent knowledge and research skills about the FinTech, Payments, Credit Card and consumer banking industries. Ability to execute market practices, be up-to-date on recent developments, conduct competitive analysis and positioning
Deep knowledge of financial services products and passion for technology and financial services trends and growth areas.
Proven ability to understand client needs and be able to deliver banking solutions in close cooperation with In-Line Business teams
Strategic and project management capabilities coupled with strong analytic and financial acumen
Demonstrated ability to gain consensus and alignment within a matrix environment

Conducts rigorous analysis and is able to synthesize complex and multiple source data into fact based and nuanced solutions
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency
