Under indirect supervision, partner with the existing Account Executive team to develop new correspondent relationships, enhance existing relationships in order to increase the quantity and quality of all affordable lending correspondent loan business by analyzing trends and maintaining regular contact with both prospective and existing correspondents.
Responsible for expanding and deepening customer relationships by identifying customers' needs comprehensively and matching their needs with selections and resources within the colleague's assigned business line and across all business lines of Associated Bank.

Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn't meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated's anonymous Ethics Hotline.
KEY RESULT AREAS
New business development
Act as a subject matter expert in the area of affordable lending to the existing Account Executives in their efforts to maintain existing correspondent accounts through frequent contact to increase the volume and knowledge of correspondents.
Conduct analysis of existing correspondent's loans to determine where we can focus more in order to increase MCA lending. Additionally, conduct analysis on MCA lending to determine future correspondent relationships that would be beneficial to Associated.
Determine appropriate reporting necessary to track MCA loans generated through correspondent relationships and provide trending critical in ongoing support of the program. Work with internal partners to ensure reporting is accurate and helpful
In conjunction with the existing Account Executives, solicit and develop new correspondent accounts through sales calls, presentations, and referrals to help increase correspondent lending production on LMI/minority borrowers and LMI/minority census tracts.
Train and educate correspondents with seminars and one-on-one sessions to improve the quality of correspondent MCA production.
Assist the Account Executive in the resolution of pricing, documentation, compliance and servicing issues with the correspondent account as the representative of Associated Bank.
Relay information through formal and informal meetings to assist in developing and improving Associated's services and products (especially in the area of Low to Moderate Income lending).
Compile competitor information gathered on sales calls as a library reference for information essential to compete with other correspondent lenders in the MCA space.
Act as subject matter expert and training specialist on Associated Bank's loan origination system and Affordable lending Products/programs to non-profits and specialized groups.
