Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Business Development Specialist (internally known as Commercial Development Specialist) to support our West Coast/Texas business. The successful candidate will Identify and manage the initial sales lead qualification and support the Directors of Commercial Development in acquiring new business with new customers.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Support Senior Director of Commercial Development (Director) in achieving departmental and company objectives.

  • Support Directors of Commercial Development (CD) in obtaining new or follow up business from prospective and existing customers.

  • Prospect for new business primarily in the USA and Canada, and potentially in other territories as required.

  • Qualify leads within new or existing companies who would benefit from FDB's outsourcing solutions, including but not limited to microbial and cell culture manufacturing, viral and gene therapy manufacturing, analytical solutions, process development support and other services offered by FDB

  • Support CD's as requested in establishing contact with new customers through persistent, professional and proactive contact via e-mail, phone and other marketing efforts

  • Support CD's in scheduling visits with clients based on CD's travel within territories

  • Maintain high visibility within Sales force of activities conducted with existing and prospect accounts

  • Prospect through newsletters and proactively utilize information obtained to qualify leads

  • Create weekly reports (or ad hoc depending on importance) regarding key changes (such as funding status or alliances/partnerships) of new and existing customers as obtained from market reports/newsletters:

  • Work with Program Managers to identify additional services that would benefit existing clients

  • Support sales effort for stand-alone and add-on services, including coordinating call and visits

  • Support marketing and promotional efforts including tradeshow attendance and pre-show marketing efforts

Assist with marketing campaigns for new services

  • Attend tradeshow or regional professional networking events as needed

  • Timely update/maintain:

  • Salesforce database with information

  • Tier board

  • Other databases/records as required by Director

  • Timely provide information about efforts in relation to above tasks or other information as requested by CD's, Senior Director

  • Collaborate with and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships with Sales, Technical Support, Business Development, Marketing, Program Management and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain professional and positive client relationship during the sales cycle.

  • Assist establishing processes to improve the sales process.

  • Maintain knowledge of industry developments.

  • Participate in sales team meetings and other regular company meetings as requested by Director

  • Lead meetings or projects as requested by Director.

  • Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or science is required.

  • Minimum four years of experience in biologics drug development and/or contract manufacturing/testing organization with at least one year in business/commercial development, or equivalent experience required.

  • Excellent technical writing skills required. Demonstrated ability to work in an environment that requires teamwork and the entrepreneurial/start-up mentality of "doing whatever it takes to get the job done" required.

  • Strong presentation and customer-interaction skills required. Good understanding of program management and biologics drug development market/business required.

VIEW JOBS 1/11/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-11T00:00 Job Description In this position for the Power business unit, you will be responsible for managing and growing a department that provides the capability for high volume testing at both the on-wafer probe and packaged component level. The goal of this team is to expand the automated test capability to address the needs of a rapidly growing production portfolio of silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs and diodes. You will interact with the Production Test and New Product Introduction teams to ensure that all data sheet characterization requirements can be met with a high-speed test platform. Responsibilities Include: * Establish and grow a team of test engineers to support growth demands on the product line by developing a suite of automated test equipment (ATE) solutions * Manage capital and personnel budgets to support rapid business growth * Specify, develop and qualify new test platforms to fully characterize SiC power MOSFETs and diodes in high volume production * Create a "copy exact" process for transferring test systems from development to production * Work with Production Test and New Product Introduction teams to establish baseline test yields, maverick wafer plans and parametric bin settings * Participate in all product-launch Gate Reviews with the New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Marketing teams to understand all testing requirements * Mange the release of changes to production software and hardware through the Process Change Review Board (PCRB) * Develop hardware and software capability to assume responsibility for all testing at packaging subcontractors * Assess and implement product changes/transfers including trainings to the subcontractor engineers * Keep track of subcontractor capability in terms of process, test equipment portfolio * Drive best practice sharing, benchmarking, and process matching across all test sites, including subcontractors Requirements: * At least 5 years of experience in management of a test engineering team * Experience in a production test environment * Strong understanding of semiconductor device characterization * Working knowledge of current industry best practices for software and hardware systems * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field Preferred Qualifications: * Power semiconductor device test experience. * Working knowledge of semiconductor component qualification and reliability testing Overview At Cree, we've spent more than 30 years developing industry firsts as a leader in wide bandgap semiconductor technology.
