Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Support Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing and Business Development team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our business development efforts, helping to identify new opportunities, and fostering relationships with current and potential clients in the Carolinas Region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the A/E/C industry and a knack for strategic thinking and problem-solving.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

  • Assist in the development and implementation of business development strategies.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.

  • Conduct market research providing insight into the efforts and growth of competitors and potential teaming partners.

  • Maintain and update client databases in Deltek Vision CRM system.

  • Maintain, track, and analyze sales pipeline data in Deltek Vision CRM system to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • Work with business development team to support contract managers in mining continuing contract/master service agreements to win task work order projects.

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings for the business development team with current and potential clients and partners.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns.

  • Develop and execute targeted client outreach strategies, including attending industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and promote our firm.

  • Work with Project Managers to prepare and present Go/No-Go recommendations.

  • Work with Project Managers to develop comprehensive project-specific capture plans that outline project win strategies, including key decision-makers, messaging, and teaming partners.

  • Monitor and report on business development activities and progress.

  • Provide support to project managers in the preparation of letters of interest, proposals, presentations, and interviews ensuring content is tailored to the client's needs and RFP requirements.

  • Develop and maintain marketing materials such as resumes, project experience, and pursuit-related brochures in collaboration with the marketing team.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in a business development or sales support role, preferably within the A/E/C industry.

  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to forge strong relationships with clients, professionals, and your team members.

  • Proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, and CRM software.
