About this Career Opportunity:
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for promoting the sales of Compliance Resource Center's solutions and professional services through consultative and strategic selling via telephone, emails, demos and webinars.
This is a full-time position located at the CRC headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.
Who We're Looking For:
We're looking for a dynamic sales professional to join our growing team.
Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospective clients.
Review and qualifies leads daily.
Actively responsive to prospective clients' needs and follows through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal, in a timely manner.
Build and cultivates relationships with clients by initiating communications verbally by phone and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
Manage inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and converts them into sales.
Conduct outbound follow-up calls to prospective clients via telephone.
Maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and meets or exceeds defined sales goals.
Learn the needs of prospective clients, determines the best product solution for them, and educates them on CRC's product lines, services and key features.
Conduct demonstrations for prospective clients and answers technical questions.
Manage data for new and prospective clients in CRM, ensuring all communications are logged and information is accurate and up to date.
Appropriately communicates brand identity and corporate position.
Tracks progress of open sales leads and calculates conversion rates.
Develop skills to be a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news and competitors' offerings.
Work closely with management when responding to a request for proposal (RFP).
Attend trade show(s) and conference(s) with the purpose of new business development.
Willingness to travel to meet client needs (Travel is estimated at 10%)
Required Education and Experience:
2-5 years of related, professional experience.
BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiar with CRM software.
Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Strong written communication skills.
Ability to build rapport with clients.
Time management and planning skills.
Ability to successfully work autonomously and motivated to grow the business.
This job operates in a professional office environment, using standard office computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and type. Work performed is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing, walking, bending, and reaching. The work occasionally involves working under pressure to balance multiple tasks and manage deadlines.
