Create a steady stream of qualified leads and prospects to drive growth through a combination of targeted cold emailing, phone calls and in person meetings with prospects these contacts will include gauging interest in products and pricing.
Hand qualified leads off to correct Team Sales Rep in Hillsborough, NC, and ensure they have needed details to close deal.
Refer all customer inquiries not related to business development and relationship management role to SEI HQ in Hillsborough, NC, which would include the following activities:
Order & reservation processing and approvals
Customer agreement changes, including pricing,
Accounts receivable collections,
Handling of damaged or returned products, and
All other customer post-sale activities.
Work with Inside Sales Reps to assist with meetings, events and customer follow up in market to retain key accounts.
Not responsible for overall account or relationship management.
Regular in state travel (roughly one day a week minimum) within their designated territory state to visit prospects and key retention accounts. Any prospect or existing account "in person" visits are limited to the specialist's designated territory state unless prior approval has been obtained from the Director of Multi-Sport sales.
Regular travel to Hillsborough, NC to touch base with team and internal contacts
Ability to provide unmatched customer service by establishing solid relationships with decision makers.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to track all sales leads and maintain reports.
Outgoing personality and the ability to build and deliver quality presentations.
Knowledge of the trends in the team sports market and ability to effectively prospect new opportunities.
Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with all company personnel, support departments and brands that we represent.
Excellent oral, written and inter-personal skills.
Ability to work in fast pace, results driven environment with a focus on fostering long term customer relationships.
Extensive team sports knowledge (ideally those who are actively involved or who have played sports at a high level)
5+ years of proven success in sales in the sport industry
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
Valid Driver's License
