Provide support to the Business Development Department, VP of Business Development, and Proposal Manager. Assist with preparation and submittal of proposals. Maintain files for all solicitation and proposal documents. Prepare graphic artwork, and charts for proposals and marketing presentations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare layouts for marketing presentations, brochures, advertisements, and proposals.
Graphics, technical illustrations, data, chart, and report preparation for proposal submission.
Assist with proposal preparation and submittal.
Send letters of interest, order solicitations as needed.
Print information on solicitations for Business Development Director and file copy for Business Development Office.
Prepare and maintain up-to-date files on open and closed proposals.
Register personnel for site visits/pre-proposals conferences.
Keep past experience information current.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years experience in an office environment (higher education such as a bachelor's degree may be substituted).
Working knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and word processing programs such as Microsoft Word.
Experience with computer graphic layout and designs.
Knowledge of various other computer programs including email and websites programs.
Ability to read and follow solicitation directions.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Physical, Environmental and Sensory Requirements
Work environment is a typical office setting.
Physical demands include intermittent sitting, standing, and walking, and occasional bending reaching and lifting.
Limited exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc. but generally not to the point of being disagreeable.
Ability to travel 5-10% of the time
