Description

The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for supporting and building major accounts through servicing, expanding, and cultivating relationships with existing clients and new requests.

Accountabilities:

  • Respond to large online/offline quote requests

  • Identify additional clients and the decision makers within the current client organizations.

  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.

  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends to senior management.

  • Support Business Development Executives with client meetings and executive interaction.

  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales to meet sales goals/initiatives

  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Required:

  • Bachelors (or equivalent)

  • 7-10 years of sales experience

  • At least 2 years of sales experience in the promotional products industry

  • Strong management potential

  • Coaching

They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store. Other responsibilities include: preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting your apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement and testifying in criminal and civil court actions. The Asset Protection Specialist must report any hazardous or unsafe condition to the Manager on Duty and carry out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. They must demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates and remain focused on store specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.
