In this role as Business Development/Sales Director, you will be involved in developing and nurturing consulting relationships at all sizes of enterprises in the banking and financial service industries, interacting directly with client decision-makers and middle- to senior-level personnel. You will work closely with RiskSpan leadership, senior managers, operations and delivery consultants.

Aggressively prospect for new business by communicating with prospects via telephone, E-Mail, or in-person; as well as conducting presentations to new and existing customers.
Responsible for all sales activities and full sales cycle focus on generating new leads
Develop new relationships with Fortune 500 and 1000 companies and establish a robust list of target customers
Ability to cold-call in order to penetrate accounts. Understanding of account selling, networking through a given account to identify and close new business.
Build and maintain a pipeline of business (3x sales quota) to enable closure of $3M-$5M in annual sales closed and achieve sales objectives against specific metrics
Work in team environment with other individuals who impact the success of the group
Quickly learn and demonstrate an understanding of the full suite of RiskSpan services and products and effectively articulate competitive advantage
Passion for excellence and strong entrepreneurial spirit to develop future business
Self-motivated to "hunt" for new business and has been top producer throughout career
Must have experience in selling Data Governance or Data Lineage to large financial institutions.
Proven experience with consultative sales approach. Have an established approach to prospecting, cold calling and finding actionable sales opportunities
Demonstrated track record of turning prospects into customers and proven ability to sell and close consulting deals in the financial services industry
Experience preparing and delivering marketing, proposal and presentation materials - good writing skills are required
Demonstrated, effective negotiation and closing techniques in securing profitable business
Experience using CRM tools
Used creative methods on social media to make sales
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field; post graduate degree is a plus
Able to travel up to 30% of the time
Big 4 consulting (Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PWC) experience in the financial services sector is desired
