CBRE Global Investors is a top tier global real estate investment manager. We are seeking to fill a Commercial Real Estate Investment RFP Writer position in the firm's Los Angeles Headquarters location responsible for supporting one of the strongest capital raising teams in the real estate investment management industry.
The successful candidate will join a team of professionals responsible for proposals for new business, writing private placement memoranda, populating and updating consultant databases and responding to various ad hoc requests.
In response to RFPs originated by global and U.S. based funds, endowments, trusts and their advising consultants, the RFP Writer provides overall project management and writes RFP responses and other related marketing documents, including PPMs, questionnaires and surveys, and completes consultant/industry databases. The position liaises with shared resource teams, investment teams, and senior management, manages the entire proposal process from inception to completion, reviews internal and external collateral materials, proofreads content and ensures appropriate formatting and branding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project manages the development of RFPs, ad hoc requests, consultant database inputs and other related documents establishing and managing timelines, leading kick-off meetings, submitting drafts for manager/investment team approval, facilitating the compliance review process, finalizing the document and submitting to the client.
Works on consultant databases, PPMs and other related marketing documents as well as responding to ad hoc requests.
Responsible for writing responses to questions asked in an RFP and development of new content.
Liaises with investment teams, shared resource teams and senior management
Peer reviews documents and provides constructive feedback to colleagues.
Provides new content to Database Manager for upload into the RFP database and helps with identifying duplications and old material to be deleted.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college and a minimum of four to six years of real estate investment management experience and/or training.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to interact comfortably with various levels of the organization.
Requires knowledge of real estate and/or the real estate investment management industry.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Strong writing skills with ability to write RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and other business development materials and reports in a pre-designed style and format. Advance skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
