WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Part of TIFIN, TIFIN Give is a tech-first philanthropy partner to wealth enterprises and builds philanthropy platforms of the future. Our primary offering is a community-based giving experience using a Donor Advised Fund (DAF). Our unique approach to philanthropy engages family members across generations to collaborate in their charitable giving, and empowers Financial Advisors to grow their practices by making philanthropy a core strategic offering, not a commodity service. TIFIN Give enables a differentiated approach to philanthropy through its ability to align the investment portfolios with a family's giving activity, utilize AI to curate charitable search and discovery and offer a delightful and engaging user experience.

This Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying prospective leads and opportunities. These include top financial institutions, wealth enterprises, broker-dealers, and asset managers in North America, as well as Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and multi-family offices (MFOs). Most of your time will be spent communicating with top of funnel prospects and coordinating demos and calls with the executive sales team, which includes the CEO and Head of Enterprise Partnerships. The position will have the opportunity and expectation to grow into a much larger role within the organization in sales, marketing or customer success, depending on the skill sets exhibited as an BDR.

We are a Series A fintech company, with marquee clients. The ideal candidate will build a strong pipeline of qualified deal opportunities and execute winning sales strategies to close. This is a true greenfield opportunity; the clients want and need our proven solution. We need your drive, hunter instincts, tenacity, and commitment to our mission to help us achieve our ambitious sales objectives.

THE ROLE:

  • Achieve quota assignments while accurately forecasting sales activity

  • Conduct high volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day) to qualify leads through calls, email, and social media

  • Fast and proficient research via social media and Google

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Sales Executives to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies

  • Schedule discovery meetings and demos for Sales Executives to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership with TIFIN

  • Learn about our customers, the challenges they face, and how our products can help grow their business and save time

  • Gain fundamental knowledge on how to be a great salesperson while influencing product development through daily use and feedback

  • Hubspot lead and list management

  • Maintaining a high volume of activities

  • Responsibility for your daily and weekly reporting

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 1+ years of quota-achieving outbound sales success, ideally with experience in a high-growth company selling technology solutions

  • Hunter mentality

  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

  • A customer-focused mentality with great listening skills and an understanding of unique client needs

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to win and solve problems

  • Values aligned with personal growth, empathy, creativity, teamwork, and communication

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Hubspot is a plus)

  • A local presence in Boulder, CO

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE:

The expected starting salary range for this position in Colorado is between $60,000 - $65,000 with an OTE of $80,000 - $90,000. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

A note on location. While we have team centers in New York City, San Francisco, Charlotte, and Mumbai, TIFIN is headquartered in Boulder, CO and our preference is to build the team here whenever possible, so relocation packages are available for any candidate willing to relocate to the Boulder area.
