The BDR is responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales goals through inbound and outbound phone and email-based sales efforts to prospective customers. This is a quota carrying position with high earning potential for achievers. This is initially a 60-day contract position, with the possibility of becoming full-time based on performance and measured results.



Responsibilities:

Requirements

-Develop sales pipeline and follow the inside sales process to meet and exceed monthly goals of sales-qualified opportunities delivered to field sales

-Follow-up on leads generated through various marketing activities as well as those coming through inbound channels presenting company solutions tailored to the prospect's needs

-Proactively call on targeted lists of prospective clients, with primary focus on phone-based sales to identify sales-ready opportunities

-Work closely with company leadership and marketing team to ensure accurate representation of solutions

-Meet monthly and annual sales-qualified lead quota by also proactively prospecting and cold calling, based on both provided lists of prospective customers as well as self-generated prospecting activities

-Adopt efficient work practices and be able to prioritize tasks accordingly; be a team player who can build required relationships to get the job done

Maintain records of contacts, accounts, leads, and opportunities in CRM database (Hubspot) and other activity metrics

Adhere to all current sales methodologies and processes

Achieve or exceed sales targets

We Are Looking For:

-1+ years of inside sales experience of which a minimum of 1 year of selling experience over the phone in software/or professional services

-Demonstrated ability to prospect in a high pressure selling environment with a proven record of successfully meeting/exceeding targets

-Superior verbal and written communication skills

-Comfortable with spending extensive time on the phone or in email daily

-Aggressive and goal oriented person with high personal drive, integrity and energy

These sales leads will span a number of channels, including all Risk inbound channels. New leads will be identified by customer analytics, predictive marketing processes and through their own client engagement activities across specified types of financial institutions and corporates within a geographic region or product segment. The role will ultimately use next generation technology and prioritized prospect lists specialized by client type and the expertise of channel marketing operation. A Business Development Representative will be skilled in explaining the benefits of Refinitiv products and services to potential clients in a concise and remote manner that creates further product curiosity. You will be the first point-of-contact for the Risk proposition. Business Development Representative screen business deals, both inbound and outbound generated, by analyzing deal requirements, potential and financials, while helping a prospect or client navigate Refintiv's suite of products. You must be able to tell the Refinitiv's story in order to get a prospect or client to agree to a follow up meeting to discuss those products. Primary responsibilities for Business Development Representative are to effectively qualify prioritized leads across various financial institutions, client types and geographies with the use of custom analytics, Client Relationship Management (CRM) data and predictive marketing data in order to upsell into existing accounts that may not have Refinitiv business or new potential customers. You will also be responsible for generating qualified prospect lists. Secondary responsibilities are to identify market trends and translate them into outbound marketing and prospecting campaigns, Social Selling, upkeep CRM hygiene, enhancing company reputation, and championing the Refinitiv company and product proposition in order to serve your prospects and internal colleagues. Qualifications: * Exceptional telephone and remote client contact skills that clearly articulate a 'business justification', 'what's in it for the client', obtain 'incremental gain' in order to qualify potential business opportunities. * Ability to provide clients with the best customer experience as possible via best practice and 'client first' interactions. * Ability to make a large number of calls to prospective clients per day and even with constant rejection, have the persistence and positive attitude to continue to in these efforts every day. * Experience in working in a professional, institutional high volume lead generation operation preferably within financial services marketing or information technology. Sales, training, or customer service environment with high inbound/outbound call volumes, and aggressive revenue and sales targets.
