The Work You'll Do:

This position is responsible for building market demand for Sovos' solutions and services by arranging for sales meetings with potential business prospects. Through networking, sales prospecting, and following-up on marketing campaigns, the Business Development Representative will learn about businesses and educate organizations on Sovos' solutions.

More specifically you will:

  • Continuously generating new business leads and opportunities through individual prospecting efforts

  • Achieve pipeline creation and revenue quotas

  • Develop and deliver regular forecasts of revenue goals and telemarketing objectives

  • Identify and implement improvements to processes, documents, tools, etc. to benefit Market Development/other internal teams and external prospects

  • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities concurrently and actively manage pipeline development of those opportunities

What We Need From You

  • Desire to work in a quota carrying position; this role carries a quota (prior experience a plus)

  • Effective planning, organizing, and prioritization

  • Proficiency with contact management solutions (e.g., Salesforce.com) and Microsoft Office suite of tools

  • Ability to be creative and effective as a communicator; with both internal & external communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) - ability to give presentations to small or large groups of people

  • Demonstrates a desire to learn and get better

  • Due to client contractual obligations- the successful candidate will have to clear a background check and drug test
