What you will be doing

  • Work directly with Enterprise & Large Enterprise Account Executives to drive pipeline through personalized outreach to multiple stakeholders within Slack's key prospect & customer accounts

  • Providing a world-class prospect and customer experience through every interaction

  • Become a product expert and learn Slack's selling practices

  • Keep meticulous records of interactions with leads in our CRM (

  • Help to build scalable demand generation campaigns based on data

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in our process

What you should have

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in SaaS

  • Commitment to pursuing a career in sales

  • Consistent track record of overachieving

  • Empathetic listener and persuasive communicator

  • Competitive, resilient, and highly motivated

  • A great attitude and love for teamwork

  • Bachelor's degree required

As a Business Development Representative, you will identify Mid-Market and Enterprise prospects from inbound leads and CRM data, lead intail outreach, and run meetings to qualify prospects for the Account Executive teams. Responsibilities: * Utilize prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects, from both inbound leads and outbound cold prospecting * Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer * Conduct thorough discovery to understand the current environment of clients, requirements, decision-making processes, and timeframes. * Schedule discovery meetings for sales representatives and prospects * Work with marketing and sales leadership to find new sources of prospects and improve the efficiency of the role * Track metrics and report back on the success of work * Manage and update opportunities in CRM Experience: * Previous BDR experience or 1+ year in a closing sales role * Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills * Experience with Salesforce CRM tools * Knowledge of business processes and organizational structures * Experience with prospecting and sales email automation tools a plus Benefits: * Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options * In addition to 11 observed holidays, salaried team members have unlimited paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off * 401(k) plan to help save for your future * 18 weeks of paid parental leave.
