The Business Development Sales Support Representative is responsible for making outbound calls into prospective clients within a targeted geographic territory. This function will use tele-prospecting with a multi-channel communication approach to targeted prospects and contacts. Individual will need to have an understanding of the Account Base Marketing concept.
Set qualified appointments with decision makers.
Work closely with the outside sales team.
Have a genuine dialogue to gatekeepers and intermediaries to help build trust and credibility in order to engage with Decision Makers.
Thoroughly manage list of leads to ensure proper nurturing has been met.
Special projects based on territory focus, to include but not limited to event recruitment.
Possible Participation in any prospect branch events, open houses, and lunch learns.
Participate in branch WebEx staff meetings when needed.
Experience with software/printing/equipment/electronics sales preferred, but not required.
1-2 years' experience in the marketing field, business field or other large firm with multiple concurrent projects.

Desire to initiate a high volume of outbound calls.
Ability to handle questions and objections.
Ability to have a meaningful dialogue with C Level contacts.
Must be comfortable contacting both small and large organizations and know how to navigate through the organization.
Ability to process data and information quickly.
Ability to qualify the gatekeepers and answer questions.

Must demonstrate in depth knowledge and understanding of the targeted audience.
