Business Development Representative, Microsoft

Get Inspired by the Work You'll Do

Maintain strong vendor relationships, while educating internal sales reps about Microsoft products and services

Develop strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs with Microsoft vendor representative

Create and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying and closing new business opportunities

Involvement at the executive level with discussions that affect customer bottom line; help set business goals

Act as a lead go-to person for supporting Sales personnel in Greenville, SC and Carson, CA (New Age Electronics)

Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities and develop strategic direction for marketing materials

Create Excel reports and make group presentations to sales reps, management, and at customer sites

Proactively develop new ways of uncovering new business and forming deep customer relationships

Act as a solid solution seller, incorporating the vendor's full line; including hardware, OS, and software products

Work on specific reseller business opportunities and negotiate for a profitable P&L

Regularly meet or exceed goals

Your passion is sparked by:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university plus two to five years of related experience

Retail sales experience, ideally in the technology field, and/or equivalent education and experience

Comprehensive knowledge of sales processes, procedures and industry terminology

Demonstrated background building productive internal and external working relationships at a senior level

Proven experience working on problems of a diverse scope and the detailed analysis of data

Solid organizational and planning skills with proven attention to detail and the use of Excel

Excellent verbal and written communications required
