MacroPoint is looking for a motivated, creative, and proactive BDR to join the Sales Team in a dynamic growing environment. This is an amazing opportunity to join a sales team at an entry-level, with a lot of opportunity for growth within the sales team.
This position is in the Cleveland, Ohio area. You will be the first point of contact with our customers in the sales process. This position requires intense proactivity, a strong desire to learn how to become a great salesperson, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to get others excited about using our tools to improve their business results.
Meet weekly and monthly business goals for call/email and appointment volumes.
Generate qualified leads via phone and email
Schedule intro calls with interested qualified prospects and one of our Account Executives.
Research the customer (on LinkedIn, Twitter, news outlets, etc.) to prepare for your intro emails and cold calls.
Interact socially via Social Networks like LinkedIn
Design innovative and creative ways to increase the value we provide to the customer.
Constantly search for methods of improvement through technology and process innovation.
Track all activities in our sales CRM
Assist with creating email campaigns, white papers, blog posts, and sales material.
Are excited about starting a career in business development leading to an Account Executive role and want to learn the Customer Centric Selling method.
Have a desire to work with some of the largest enterprise customers in the world.
Have a hunter mentality: you want to do whatever it takes to connect with prospective customers.
Can convey an effective message in a written e-mail.
Understand how to social sell and interact with prospects over social networks
Have strong verbal communication skills to cold call effectively
Are self-motivated and able to contact 50 to 80 prospects per day
