We are part of Homeboy Industries ("HBI"), the largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world and recipient of the 2020 Hilton Humanitarian Award.Overview of Position:Homeboy Electronics Recycling ("HBR") is seeking an experienced new business development representative to help grow top line revenue.
You will report directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and take responsibility for identification, qualification and closure of new business opportunities in IT asset disposition, reverse logistics, depot services, electronics recycling and related services. We are seeking an exceptional individual performer with a proven sales track record in ITAD services with relevant industry experience.Responsibilities:•Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets by developing a territory-specific growth plan.•Produce self generated prospecting methodology to include but not exclusive to (cold calling, Linked In, emailing, networking) companies in focused industries that have potential to engage with HBR.•Convert prospects to sales and ongoing business/customer relationships.•Thoroughly understand the services offered by HBR and translate those services into solutions for prospective customers.•Develop high quality, customized presentations focusing on individual customer needs•Work closely with Resale Manager to evaluate and estimate materials wholesale and resale value.•Prepare quotes and proposals using company templates and master pricing guidelines.•Complete RFI and RFP responses in consultation with internal subject matter experts.•Negotiate effectively to get the best prices and terms for HBR while meeting the customers' requirements striving for win/win relationships.•Daily maintenance of CRM (Hubspot) with all sales related activities and timely follow through (download app to your phone).•Attend weekly team sales meetings and weekly 1:1 with the Sales Director.•Facilitate smooth handoff of new customers to logistics, operations, and customer service terms.•Work in office a minimum of 3 days a week•Travel to meetings, conferences, community events (some weekends) and networking events.Basic Qualifications/Requirements:•5 years of prior success in related industry experience.•5 years of inbound/outbound sales prospecting.•Valid drivers license and proof of insurance.•Self-directed and highly motivated.•Flexible, yet organized with great follow through.•Team player: can work well with all individuals and all department staffing.•Confident in written and verbal communication; specifically sales presentations.•Skilled in Google Drive/Microsoft (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sheets) and CRM.•Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.Additional Position Information:•Working Conditions: Shared office environment.•Compensation:
Base salary $68,000 - $70,000, plus commission. Commensurate with experience.•Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, 401K•Other: This position includes regular travel within Southern California.
