Expectations of your role are:

  • Collaborating with Division Management (DM) and Business Development Director (BDD) to develop and implement effective marketing, sales, and prospecting strategies.

  • Tracking, managing, and closing new business opportunities within your specific market in partnership with the BDD.

  • Generating leads through demographic research and targeted outreach.

  • Participating in company-wide sales initiatives and regional blitz campaigns as directed by the BDD.

  • Qualifying potential targets based on strategic criteria defined by DM/BDD.

  • Estimating project costs for pricing and budgetary purposes.

  • Creating and presenting compelling proposals for new work, adhering to pricing requirements set by DM/BDD.

  • Communicating customer expectations and project scopes to operations teams for seamless execution.

  • Inputting and tracking sales activities using the company's CRM software.

  • Networking and marketing within your territory through associations, networking groups, and affiliations in collaboration with the BDD.

  • Attending, managing, and developing strategies for trade shows, events, and other market-specific activities.

  • Consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals set by DM/BDD.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to organize and manage a work schedule efficiently.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve disputes.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in business development or sales, preferably in the commercial painting or related industry.
