Business Development Representatives @ Contract Wrangler:

The sales team at Contract Wrangler is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization that is scaling aggressively in 2020. We are looking for a Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. We are looking for future CEOs and strategic thinkers with a bias toward action that can be a great long term addition to our team. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Collect and track information that provides sales intelligence for our Senior leadership team to help shape our product roadmap


  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a high growth company
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field

The BDR will be responsible for qualifying, identifying and developing quality sales opportunities for the Corporate Sales organisation. This integral teammate will drive market share by creating and delivering leads that build pipelines for our EMEA Sales team.
