We are looking for an individual who will work with our existing customers, as well as develop new ones, in sourcing and placing candidates. You will report directly to the CEO of the business and leverage relationships within both Talentporte and Oakwood to grow your business. In addition, as you grow, the opportunity to hire someone to work with you is expected.

As a Talentporte Business Development/Recruiter you will:

  • Lead the effort to improve Talentporte's market position; understand, communicate, and reflect the Talentporte brand

  • Develop and nurture a profitable book of business by leveraging dozens of relationships with current or previous customers; identify prospective new client companies with contract, contract to hire, and direct hire staffing needs

  • Qualify and follow up on customer's staff augmentation needs; develop, maintain, and grow existing client relationships; uncover new growth prospects and expand existing opportunities; collaborate with appropriate internal staff to optimize new business development opportunities

  • Take the lead in engaging in new and existing client development activities such as sourcing, cold calling, qualifying initial clients, identifying decision makers, initiating and cultivating relationships, completing client company profiles and organizational charts, marketing candidates, identifying competitors, scheduling and conducting new and follow-up client activities

  • Recruit, evaluate, and place information technology professionals in positions with our customers

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates

  • Provide consistent communication and career guidance to candidates

  • Lead the negotiations of terms and conditions that are mutually beneficial to Talentporte, the customer, and the candidate

  • Partner with management to develop business and performance targets; grow revenue consistent with established goals

  • Maintain proficient knowledge of current market conditions and impacts

  • Attend industry related networking functions including Career Fairs and Trade Shows to help build the Talentporte brand; participate in various networking activities to increase our presence within the local IT community

  • Participate in daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly update meetings

Success in this role requires:

  • 3+ years in business development/recruiting roles in staffing companies.

  • A broad knowledge of information technology tools and applications; strong business acumen

  • A competitive drive, strong work ethic, high sense of urgency, and high level of energy

  • The ability to align and influence internal and external staff to build commitment; to quickly establish and maintain long-standing, meaningful relationships with hiring managers and leadership across many industries and environments

  • An attention to detail, excellent organizational and decision-making skills, and the ability to multitask effectively

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn, Compas, and JobVite

  • Productivity in a team-oriented environment

  • A sense of presence and professional/effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivation, tolerance for ambiguity, and the ability to work autonomously

  • Bachelors level degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

The Store Recruitment Coordinator assists District and Store management with the sourcing and hiring of candidates for store-level and delivery driver positions. This includes managing the job posting process, including the creation of requisitions in the Company's posting system, screening and interviewing applicants, scheduling candidate interviews with hiring managers, creating offer letters, handling background checks for internal applicants, processing new hire paperwork and following up with all other applicants. This position will also facilitate career fairs and other recruiting activities to source candidates. It will work closely with the District Coordinator to ensure that internal candidate promotions/transfers are processed appropriately in the Company's HR system.
