If you are looking for an opportunity to impact the small business communitywe just might have the role for you.POSITION SUMMARYTheBusiness Development Officeris responsible for loan cultivation, advancement, and the growth of LiftFunds small business lending portfolio. This role is focused on outreach within the small business community, interfacing with banks, financial institutions, organizations, and the business community at large. The position is directly responsible for the cultivation, origination, and packaging of SBA 7a business loans. This is a key business partner role; constantly examining and developing methods that increase LiftFunds market presence, production, and processing efficiency. As a subject matter expert in the SBA 7a Community Advantage loan product, the VP is relied upon to recommend and target ways to align small business loans to efficiently meet our clients needs, thus ensuring customer satisfaction and increasing LiftFunds market share and impact.The VP will report to the Executive Vice President of Large Loans and SBA 7a CA.This role offers flexible hours and the ability to work remotely from home with very limited travel required to the local office.
  • Develop new and manage existing partnerships to produce SBA 7a CA loans, in addition to other loan products over $100,000
  • Meet monthly lead, application, and loan targets
  • Successfully establish and maintain business relationships with bank partners, community leaders and current / potential borrowers
  • Effectively communicate with clients and internal departments
  • Serve as key relationship manager of loan applicants
  • Participate and support in loan packaging by gathering required loan documentation with applicants
  • Assemble and provide complete loan packages for submission to underwriting staff
  • Successfully manage the quality of your loan portfolio (delinquency and write-offs)
  • Conduct site, collection, and follow-up visits to current clients
  • Conduct collateral inspections for loan applicants
  • Participate in loan closings
  • Confer with LiftFunds Loan Committee and Underwriting Manager(s) concerning various issues of loan policy and overall credit quality of your portfolio
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct small business lending experience,business development, and or sales experience includingcommercial real estate lending, fixed asset financing, working capital loans or accounts receivable financing
  • Experience in supporting delinquency and collections on past due activities on loan payments
  • Able to speak, define, and represent financial topics and credit analytics
  • A strong sense of ownership, accountability, critical thinking skills; must also be able to work successfully in anautonomous environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can drive action and influence decision making activity
  • Experience with client relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite; particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel
It Would Be Great If You Had
  • In-depth knowledge of credit and cashflow assessment
  • Any experience with the SBA 7a program
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)

VIEW JOBS 1/25/2023 12:00:00 AM 2023-04-25T00:00 <p>Freemodel is seeking an entrepreneurial and creative self-starter who wants to be a key driver of growing an early-stage Silicon Valley startup.</p><p>Freemodel helps homeowners maximize the sale price of their homes by providing a turnkey pre-sales renovation service. Freemodel designs, manages and pays for remodels with no upfront costs. Homeowners pay out of escrow when their homes sell.</p><p>The Business Development Manager role is crucial to Freemodel’s growth and success. You will be responsible for building relationships with senior management at real estate brokerages and establishing and maintaining partnerships with their companies. You will also call on top agent performers to encourage their use of Freemodel.</p><p>You will give presentations to large groups of agents within those brokerages. You will work with Freemodel marketing to ensure that agents get the support they need to promote the Freemodel service to their homeowner clients.</p><p>The ideal Business Development Manager has 3-5 years of previous sales or business development experience. Ideally, this person is also knowledgeable about residential real estate brokerage and has a working knowledge of residential renovation.</p><p>As a Business Development Manager you will:</p><ul><li>Work with Freemodel Marketing to identify senior brokerage leaders and top agent performers (together “brokerage partners”) in your area.</li><li>Solicit referrals to potential brokerage partners from current brokerage partners as well as from Freemodel Project Directors and staff.</li><li>Methodically follow-up with potential brokerage partners via phone, email, and LinkedIn to make contact and establish relationships.</li><li>Make 80-100 outbound calls per week to current and potential brokerage partners. Many of these will be cold calls.</li><li>Take detailed notes on all sales activities and record these notes in Hubspot. Update contact and company info as needed. </li><li>Use Hubspot to streamline and automate sales activities and follow-up.</li><li>Negotiate and execute contracts with senior brokerage leaders for joint promotion and revenue sharing of the Freemodel service.</li><li>Schedule and give presentations to large agent teams either via zoom or in-person. Invite local Project Directors to attend as appropriate.</li><li>Coordinate and bring catering to in-person presentations. Assist in coordinating gifts to current brokerage partners as needed.</li><li>Work with Freemodel Marketing to make sure current brokerage partners have the collateral and information they need to promote the service to their homeowners</li><li>Prepare and send regular reports to senior management of current brokerage partners on the projects Freemodel is doing for their agents and homeowner clients.</li><li>Work with Freemodel Marketing to execute surveys of current brokerage partners on the performance of Freemodel</li><li>Attend trade shows and other real estate events to meet potential brokerage partners.</li><li>Work with Freemodel inside sales to hand-off new projects that you may uncover and to ensure that they are being actively followed-up on.</li><li>Track the performance of current brokerage partners to determine which brokerages are and are not adopting the service.</li><li>Work with Freemodel Marketing to continue to promote Freemodel to current brokerage partners. </li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented and self-motivated.
