  • Identifies prospective AMG clients or referral sources by educating about and positioning AMG capabilities to generate awareness, deliver solutions and drive new revenue.

  • Calls on prospects and Centers of Influence to sell the full spectrum of AMG products and services, generally at client location and either self-initiated or referred by internal/external partners. Cultivates referrals/leads, generates interest and collaborates with partners to close the sale.

  • Works with management and/or partners to establish and execute the appropriate activities, tactics and strategies to generate, identify and pursue new opportunities and successfully close the sale.

  • Meets with and educates partners to position the value of AMG capabilities. Assesses new business opportunities on a consistent basis, including completing book of business reviews, responding to new business inquiries and requests for proposals, and maintaining territory/focus lists. Drives team member accountability and participation.

  • Maintains timely, accurate and complete sales administration tasks as determined by the business.

Work with a One Bankteamtounderstand clients# and prospects# business environments, strategies, and industries to best determinethefinancial needs and appropriate working capital management solutions to provide. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures thatactions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Sales Management: o Must be able to persuasively articulate Fifth Third#s value proposition to both internal and external clients to influence the outcome within the sales process. o Demonstrate ability to identify client needs and the ability to present working capital solutions to clients and prospects. o Demonstrate ability to understand payment processes. o Demonstrate proficiency in knowledge of all strategic TM solutions and their benefits to our clients. o Understand competitions# capabilities and gaps and how to position 5/3#s services against them. o Prepares and deliver quarterly client service reviews to clients. * Expected to develop personal relationships with C-suite and senior management decision makers at client and prospect organizations. o Devise and execute a plan to exceed sales goals. o Accountable for the development of a sales pipeline of both new and cross-sell opportunities and appropriately managing those to a win/loss decision. o Actively manage a pipeline using the CRM tool. o Maintain lines of communications with RMs individually and as a group. o Review sales goals with RMs and ensure RMs are advised of calling strategies. o Educate and advise RMs of new TM product development initiatives. o Assess knowledge level of individual RMs and bring each up to a minimum standard. o Partner with RMs to provide recommendations on sales opportunities to include sales to new prospects and cross-sell opportunities to existing clients. * Client Experience: o Work closely with assigned client specialists to ensure excellent client service on an on-going basis. o Assist with general bank communications to clients. o Take ownership and deliver timely resolution of client issues. o Develop knowledge of internal resources for accurate response to client issues. o Understand and communicate implementation time-line to align with client expectations. o Ensure proper account documentation and all requisite agreement execution. o Communicate recurring or serious product issues to management. o Recommend viable solutions to improve client service. * Leadership: o Understands, appreciates, and promotes the history of 5/3 Bank, its financial position, operating model and commitment to a positive client experience. * SEE ACTUAL JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ALL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. MBA or advanced degree is desirable. * CTP certification is strongly encouraged. * Minimum of 4 years Commercial Banking /Treasury Management experience, preferably at least 3 years in a sales role. * Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding performance goals. * Possess a strong desire to constantly strive to improve oneself. * Must have strong client interaction skills and has demonstrated the ability to influence the outcome of a sales process. * Requires the aptitude for powerful presentations and negotiation skills with internal and external clients. * Demonstrated ability to articulate the benefits of strong working capital management solutions to clients. * Proven product and sales knowledge sufficient to help mentor new team members. * Demonstrated knowledge of a wide array of treasury management products. * Excellent oral and written skills. * Basic proficiency in PC software (MS Office). * Technical Treasury Management competencies: o Understanding of Treasury Management, Payment and products and solutions. o Ability to build new & existing client relationships. o Ability to evaluate client needs. o Basic understanding of financial statement analysis. o Ability to provide strategic treasury advisory services. o Understanding of investment management techniques.
