dash design has an exciting opportunity for a candidate whos interested in learning about the business end of the interior design world. The ideal candidate will support the Director of Marketing and Director of Sales in a variety of projects however; the primary focus of their responsibility will be proposal writing. The Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Director of Marketing to execute proposals and supplemental fees, and implement marketing communication programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write proposals and supplemental fees (under the supervision of Dept. Director
  • Manage the Presidents calendar
  • Update social media & website (square space)
  • Update and maintain database
  • Maintain and update department files & documents
  • Submit design competitions
  • Support other marketing initiatives
  • Liaise with key partners and public relations firm

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree (or working toward a degree) in Marketing, Graphic Design, Public Relations or Communications
  • A passion or great interest in design
  • Accountable, proactive, responsible, organized, great follow-up, positive attitude, motivated to see projects through to completion
  • Works well independently or in a group environment
  • A good understanding of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite
  • Good understanding of social media
  • A flair or interest in writing
  • Detail oriented
  • Can multi-task and meet deadlines
