GenStar currently offers an excellent opportunity for Business Development Marketing Assistant - GenStar based in our Stamford office. This is a hybrid role.

Role Description

The Business Development Marketing Assistant is a member of the Business Development Division (BDD) and provides professional administrative marketing support to GenStar and Genesis (sister company of GenStar) Executives, Managers, Business Development Associates and Underwriters. The Business Development Marketing Assistant provides support for brochures, flyers, invitations, presentations, events, promotional items, website maintenance, expense reports, and any additional administrative /marketing tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates visual materials (including presentation materials) both digital and print production, as required to meet project requirements and corporate brand standards.

  • Produces PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel grids, Flyers, Brochures, Signage, etc.

  • Creates charts, icons, imagery, illustrations, infographics.

  • Converts marketing content into tables and graphic charts/visualizations.

  • Utilizes consistent formatting that complies with corporate brand and templates.

  • Interacts and collaborates with Business Development associates to determine project resources and requirements.

  • Follows the corporate process for proper archiving of marketing materials.

  • Maintains marketing inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, and placing and expediting orders.

  • Researches and orders marketing materials/promotional gifts.

  • Prepares marketing communications, such as emails, reports, and other correspondence.

  • Handles sensitive information in a confidential manner.

  • Makes travel arrangements such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.

  • Completes expenses reports for assigned associates in Concur.

  • Completes ad-hoc projects.

Role Qualifications and Experience

  • Exhibits polite and professional communication.

  • Proficiency as a graphic designer.

  • Experience working in MS Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, social media platforms, and other Microsoft Office products specific to the PC platform.

  • Accurate editing and proofreading of marketing materials.

  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with corporate associates and third parties.

  • Ability to work under pressure, at times, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Excellent time management skills and multitasking capabilities.

  • Proven ability to work creatively, analytically, and accurately.

  • Problem solving capabilities.

  • Flexibility includes ability to work overtime, as needed with permission, to complete projects.

  • High School diploma: degree in marketing, business or relevant field is a strong advantage.

Salary Range

38,000.00 - 64,000.00 USD

The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
