Project Development Manager
The Project Development Manager will support and manage development and pre-construction efforts; plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules, and lead the project development of energy efficiency and decarbonization projects.
Essential Functions
Manage proposal delivery for energy efficiency and decarbonization projects
Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, engineers, mechanical contractors, and support staff.
Examine and review contracts and estimates by performing risk analysis and developing risk plans.
Lead development process for awarded projects from contract through construction start, managing project budgets and schedules.
Analyze key project details such as utility data, facility profiles, drawings, and system operating data.

ability to work with incentive and grant schemes
Independent identification, development and closing of business opportunities in NYC
Assist Pre-Construction with estimating, scope development and fundamental design for turnkey projects
Develop Sub-Contractor scope of work documentation.
Responsible for all project related and customer required documentation
Develop ASHRAE L1 Audits
Bachelor's degree in related field
8 to 10 years' experience in the energy services, engineering consulting, or utility industry
Required Experience
5+ years of project development experience.
Strong understanding of energy code and NYC Local laws, including LL84 and LL97
Ability to thrive in a cross-functional and interdisciplinary team
Ability to understand newer technologies and develop strong customer relationships
