The Business Development Manager will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management for a specific global account. You will build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects and engage resources. You will define a C-level relationship strategy within the account, including engaging with Hussmann senior leadership team for executive sponsorships, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

  • Contribute to annual sales plan for this global account; develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales and growth targets.

  • Responsible for financial results, forecasting and pricing strategy.

  • Coordinate Hussmann sales efforts for the account globally; develop and negotiate customer contracts as necessary.

  • Develop the strategy to grow and support the account globally.

  • Establish key relationships with customer's business segments globally and assist customer sales team in product approvals, project bids, and new product introductions.

  • Serve as focal point for customer communication on topics including contract negotiations, joint development, global bids, sustainability, and local content.

  • Collaborate across customer's matrix organization; connecting various parts of the customer's organization as necessary to leverage full potential of Hussmann offerings.

  • Provide a conduit to share best practices between various countries.

  • Act as advocate for the customer within Hussmann, coordinating with internal stakeholders as necessary to meet customer needs; own problem resolution.

  • Evaluate business opportunities, develop specific customer value propositions and plans for implementation, and selling value-added solutions.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)

  • 10 + years of technical sales experience People management experience required

  • Deadline and goal driven self-starter

  • Customer interfacing experience; individual needs to understand customer needs and decision-making processes

  • Familiarity with Hussmann product, services, and processes

  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%
