About Milestone:

Milestones product team is looking for a hands-on Business Development Manager with strong technical aptitude and prior experience collaborating with product, account management and executive teams to deliver exciting new partnerships that drive the business forward.

As Business Development Manager at Milestone Inc., you will be responsible for defining the vision, evaluate, and grow our partnerships with data platforms. Milestones Platform will power engaging experiences on myriad of platforms across desktop, iOS, and Android mobile devices. Major corporations use our end-to-end solution to build brand engagement and loyalty, drive conversion, and provide post-sales support.
With the rapidly expanding relationships in Partnerships, the Business Development Manager will also lead the marketing, messaging, training, and interaction at scale with each partnership and will work closely with the other teams.


  • Manage all partnership relationships across all the product lines
  • Identify new partnerships, evaluate their value, contract, and work with Product team to manage their integration
  • Manage the overall strategy for partnerships
  • Build upon and strengthen quality of current data partnerships and expand integrations of Milestone products and initiatives
  • Engage with internal stakeholders across legal, marketing, revenue and operations to facilitate the onboarding and integration with new partners
  • Serve as point of contact internally across departments to ensure proper communication to and from Partnerships
  • Drive the evolution of team best practices, standards and policies
  • Prepare quarterly reviews for all partners, including meetings, financial statements and roadmap discussions

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of general Business Development, Consulting, or Product/Project Management
  • Digital Media, Ads, Local data, maps, search, or social platform experience preferred
  • Established relationships with partners in Social Media, Local, maps, search and Ads platforms
  • Significant partnership relationship management experience of C-Level executives
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and remote team interaction
  • Proven track record in leading initiatives and managing projects
  • Competency in gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter expert


  • Undergraduate computer science degree from top university required.
  • MBA Preferred

The Managed Care Contracting Division at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center is looking for a talented managed care contracting professional to join its team. This Health Care Services Business Development Analyst position will have the responsibility to analyze, develop and negotiate payer contracts which may include Medi-Cal and Medicare managed care and commercial plans, pharmacy benefits managers, individual letters of agreement, and contracts with at risk medical groups. Preferred candidates will have experience with financial analysis and analytics to help develop pricing strategies and analyze contract performance to support strategic contracting decisions for the department. Learn more about Santa Clara Valley Medical Center: Hospital and Clinics at and follow us on: Twitter I @scvmctalent Facebook I LinkedIn | Typical Tasks * Reviews contracts from multiple entities desiring to contract hospital or physician services from Santa Clara Valley Health & Hospital System; * Performs program and cost analysis and market research on a variety of hospital, clinic, medical group and health related projects as needed and on an on-going basis; * Develops and negotiates commercial and Medi-Cal contracts with HMO's, PPO's, clinics, and physicians groups for Valley Medical Center (VMC), and VMC physicians; Medi-Cal Managed Care contracts and specialty referral and ancillary contracts on behalf of Valley Health Plan; business development contracts with other community providers for VMC; * Negotiates all rates/reimbursements for all commercial hospital and physician services; * Develops and negotiates terms and conditions for all commercial contracts including health plans, medical groups, and third party payors; * Performs cost analysis of inpatient and outpatient hospital and physician services; * Coordinates with various hospital departments to ensure contract compliance including utilization management, case management, claims, billing, admitting, and finance; * Identifies revenue producing opportunities for hospital and physician group within healthcare community; * Acts as primary contact/liaison for operational problem between hospital departments and health plans; * Provides in-service training to other departments relative to contract implementation; * Acts as a resource for departments at Valley Medical Center regarding managed care contract interpretation; * Serves on inter-departmental committees on a regular basis and ad-hoc basis for contracting, planning, and marketing related activities; * Prepares and submits transmittals related to delegation of authority, contracts review, office leases and other actions that require approval from the Board of Supervisors; * Prepares Request For Proposals for vendor selection for SCVH&HS and other county agencies; * Facilitates the selection process of outside vendors and negotiation and preparation of contracts with such vendors; * Develops responses to Request For Proposals from insurers, other health care providers, other county agencies and other entities; * Coordinates any required interdepartmental response regarding Request For Proposals and interfaces with County Counsel and outside counsel on related legal issues; * Assists the Director of Planning and Marketing in administrative activities and responds to numerous internal and external inquiries for information regarding SCVH&HS services; * Identifies program problems, determines appropriate action and makes recommendations for problem resolution; assists in the implementation of program enhancements and service improvements; * Analyzes and interprets existing, new and proposed legislation for cost and program impacts; Employment Standards Sufficient education and experience which directly demonstrates the possession and application of the following knowledge and abilities: Experience Note: The knowledge and abilities required to perform this function are typically attained through training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from a college or university in health care administration, public administration or a related field AND four years of professional level analytical or administrative experience, two of which must be in a health care setting.
