Job Summary:

Identifies opportunities for business expansion in support of the customer sales strategy. Develops and maintains the business relationship by providing solutions for defined account(s) in a product line, to achieve the identified strategy and business financial objectives

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert (SME) for brand product, technology solutions and/or offerings for assigned customers.

  • Responsible for the execution of the strategic customer growth plans and business relationships in assigned account(s) by providing value added solutions.

  • Identifies and creates opportunity demand for products, coordinating the supporting seminars, training and resource awareness to assigned customers that drives growth plan success in the targeted accounts

  • Performs analysis and reports results of various program impact for identified customer(s) notifying the AM of success, issues and future growth plan strategies

  • Maintains and drives trending knowledge of products, competitors, technology and customers in the assigned supplier product market

Job Level Specifications:

  • Mastery knowledge of assigned product / service line as well as those of the entire organization. Can move fluidly amongst product / service lines and be equally effective.

  • Works on a cross-section of the largest and/or most important accounts with the highest degree of complexity and variability.

  • Works under almost full autonomy and latitude. Has broad discretion in determining priorities and best approach to sales and service responsibilities. May coach and develop more junior team members.

  • Builds and maintains a strong network of colleagues and customers to share information and increase sales. Acts as a consultant to management on sales strategy.

  • Actions have a vast and lasting impact to an organization. Failure to accomplish goals or meet customer expectations have a significant financial impact to the organization and its reputation with customers.

Work Experience:
10+ years experience in sales

Education and Certification(s):

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Job Summary Be part of CS Service Solutions organization where we are focused in growing both Collins and Non-Collins offerings. Be involved in multiple projects that drives the next growth engine for Service Solutions. Responsible for performing activities related to competitive analysis, market research, market share determination, external product/capability overviews, provides support to the overall RC pursuit and order capture process. Job Responsibilities * Lead in identifying opportunities to grow Commercial and Military Avionics Services and Aftermarket through development of market analysis, identifying environmental trends, opportunities and risks. Interprets market trends to identify implications for Rockwell Collins. * Develops and presents compelling strategic and business growth opportunities that may include market and competitive analysis via decision point reviews * Continually scans environment for business and strategic growth opportunities * Strong understanding of Rockwell Collins Commercial and Military businesses, forward-fit or services. * Experience with developing Strategic Financial Plan and Annual Operating Plan * Leading and working cross-functional, cross-enterprise teams * Prepares and supports company profiles on competitors and potential acquisition candidates, including financial analyses. Analyzes competitors' market shares relative to Rockwell Collins. * Supports acquisition and divestiture activities as needed * Interfaces directly with Business Unit VP/GM or Shared Services leadership to create Strategic Business Plan document and reviews for executive leadership. * Networks with senior internal and external personnel in area of expertise. Represents organization as a prime contact on projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. * Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of multiple factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would have a serious impact on the organization. * Normally receives minimal supervision on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.
