Great Opportunity for a Business Development Manager in Honeywell's personal care division.

Personal care is an exciting growth business at Honeywell and has a very motivated, smart team that is working on creating high performance and sustainable offerings to deliver the latest trends to the personal care industry.

SUMMARY:

This person is responsible for driving sales and margins by identifying and generating new opportunities and by managing existing customer accounts in Honeywell's personal care division including quasi pharma applications. The incumbent will build and manage relationships with customers and the Honeywell brand in the personal care industry. The incumbent will play an important role in being the eyes and ears of the personal care industry at Honeywell, bring market intelligence, stay on top of trends, help develop business strategy and actions and manage channels.

The position is based in the USA (Greater NY/NJ area) and will be responsible for key US and global accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver new revenue and margin to the personal care P&L consistent with Annual Operating Plan commitments.

  • Employ a consultative selling approach that focuses on building a longterm, value-based relationship with accounts and successfully navigate different levels of decision making in the customer organization to maintain and build business

  • Prospecting and new business development

  • Develops and executes business plans, strategies, action plans, milestones, and budgets

  • Analyses and interprets the market dynamics and the position of these products for the personal care applications market segment (Americas and Europe)

  • Develops specific annual goals. Growth targets will be identified through analysis of a) existing technologies for extension into adjacent applications c) external market needs and drivers

  • Establish longer-range business growth plan based on assessing adoption of technology in personal care, new growth ideas within personal care and support decision making process related to New Product Development projects.

  • Provide evaluations for potential opportunities and take leadership in executing the integration into the business of those opportunities that are approved to move forward.

  • Deliver on customer needs, customer project requirements by communicating and leading specific customer initiatives across various internal functions including R&D, supply chain, quality, etc.

  • Provide education of Honeywell's offering and value proposition through presentations, meetings, hosting customer events, etc.

  • Maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using HON customer relationship management system

  • Provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) Drive business growth by discovering new opportunities, clients, and customer

  • Deliver value by forging new strategic relationships

  • Negotiate long term agreements

  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as technical services and operations to ensure world-class service and communication

YOU MUST HAVE

  • B.S. Engineer degree
  • 5 years of experience in a sales position with a proven track record of success
  • 5 years of technical and business acumen and selling experience to the Beauty & Personal care product manufacturing industry

The Novartis Cell & Gene Technical Development and Manufacturing team is seeking a Lab Manager MS&T in Morris Plains, NJ. What you'll be doing Lead a department responsible for design, plan, perform, interpret and report scientific experiments to contribute to overall MS&T strategies and objectives of process improvements and process characterization in the field of CAR-T. These and other efforts will help realize our collective goal of delivering robust and efficient CAR-T cell processes for patients in need. Leadership: * Set objectives and develops vision for department. * Act as SPOC for MS&T Head. * Manage the MS&T Laboratory career path, succession planning, training program and career progression. * Enable knowledge management for processes and products within department and across site functions. * Reporting acc. to QM, Site LT, Global MS&T. * Define and implement standards for MS&T Laboratory (e.g. local SOPs, templates). * Ensure overall inspection readiness for area of responsibility. * Works with the other Site MS&T teams and networks of the relevant platform/cluster, driving reapplication of standard work processes, reapplication of best practices. Ensure that quality and compliance improvement and savings opportunities locally implemented are rapidly re-applied globally. Laboratory work: * Comply with applicable GxP regulations, SOPs, HSE, ISEC & other Novartis Guidelines in the laboratory. * Maintain up-to-date documentation of laboratory work carried out including documentation storage and archiving. * Contribute to and maintain lab instructions, SOPs, templates. * Support, qualification and calibration of lab / pilot equipment with accompanying documentation, schedule and perform routine maintenance. * Contribute to the evaluation of new equipment. * Evaluate and implement state-of- the-art technologies (laboratory methods, techniques), optimize existing methods, contribute to new method development and reproduce published methods. * Owns and represents his/her area of responsibility in health authority inspections. * Assess patent landscape with respect to specific project related questions. Stewardship - for projects assigned: * Defines the strategy of experiment design (formulation / analytical tests ....) for products assigned in the context of process transfer, process improvement and process validation. Validation - for projects assigned: * Prepare and review appropriate GxP documentation including change requests. * Support maintenance of QRAs, contribute to determination of process control strategy based on CQAs and where necessary on CPP, CMA to support ongoing process verification (OPV). * Document and report results in accordance with the quality standards (e.g. regulatory compliance, development manuals).
