Position Purpose

In support of all of end markets of the Home Depot Pro, the Stockwise Sales Consultant is a product and market specialist within the Stockwise Team. The Sales Consultant's primary role is to deliver the business and technical features of Stockwise inventory management solutions, with the core objective of successfully supporting the sales organization. This position will be responsible for preparing for implementation of Stockwise solutions, for both new and existing clients, by leading the pipeline management, product gathering and configuration and client training. This will include documenting requirements utilizing standard templates that would enable a successful development and launch of Stockwise solutions to include StockWise, Shop Management (SMP), Pre Positioned Inventory (PPI) and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
30%- Training, coaching and strengthening the knowledge of our sales professionals on related products and procedures.
20%- Lead various training aspects, from Product & Vendor Training, to Systems & Sales Training.
20%- Aggressive Sales focus with existing sales professionals visiting customers with in our key institutional Market segments (Education, Healthcare, Office Buildings, and Lodging)
20%- Work with various vendors to gain support for our sales professionals.
10%- Continuously look for ways to reduce our operating costs and increase our productivity.

Reports to the Sr. Business Development Manager. Has no direct reports.

  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
