GLOSSYBOX is the leading luxury subscription-based beauty box service in Germany. Our business concept unites premier brands from the cosmetics industry with customers and beauty enthusiasts in an innovative and direct manner. Whether one chooses to subscribe to our exclusively curated one-time box or wants to opt for the monthly box subscription, our customers always receive selected beauty products delivered straight to their door - from well-known brands to exciting, upcoming brands. Through various marketing channels we create a transparent and sustainable relationship with our customers that allows us to provide our partners with valuable feedback about their products and new insights about their target market. About the Role:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Product sourcing from current & new partners, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality beauty products
  • Partnership management including outreach to new partners, management of current relationships & external reporting on projects
  • Working with the global Glossybox team to ensure KPIs are met
  • Ensuring a first-rate brand feedback process in conjunction with the Marketing department
  • Supporting the team in developing and implementing strategic brand-building partnership campaigns
  • On time fulfilment of product for the beauty box in line with monthly and seasonal beauty box themes
  • Ensure the boxes include 5 beauty products, and maintain a mix of brands and product categories in line with global box KPIs
  • Ensure Brand Limited Edition boxes are secured, fulfilled and executed in the best possible way
  • Ensure all brands are contractually secure, and both parties meet all contractual obligations to fulfil the campaign
  • Work closely with the Glossybox marketing team to support the feature of the product within the campaign
  • Work with the Glossybox team to understand our customer base, their demographics and opportunities to target new customers
  • Understanding beauty trends and ensure to incorporate them into Glossybox marketing and all new business targeting
  • Completion of feedback loop with all partners taking part in any sampling project in order to up sell for future initiatives
  • Work closely with the Lookfantastic Business Development Managers to launch new brands and products on site in line with the Glossybox collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with all Glossybox global territories and sourcing teams to ensure the end user experience is consistent

Requirements

  • 3 years+ Sales or Business Development experience, preferably across the beauty industry
  • Outstanding sales and relationship building skills
  • Experience in prospecting and contacting new businesses for potential partnerships
  • High energy with excellent communication skills - you are able to charm people off their feet
  • Passion for beauty and the latest trends in the luxury category
  • Motivated self-starter, detail oriented and organized
