As the Business Development Manager, youll lead Glides marketplace strategy, engaging with lenders, title companies, insurance providers and other value-added services to improve the real estate transaction experience for our growing user base of 100,000+ real estate agents and consumers. Youre an ideal candidate if you have experience building a marketplace of vendors, developing and managing partner relationships, and a strong interest in real estate, technology or both.

You Will:

  • Identify and reach out to potential partners in the industry
  • Create financial models and analyze opportunities
  • Negotiate and structure a wide variety of deals
  • Collaborate with Account Management to integrate preferred vendors of high-value customers
  • Collaborate with Product to optimize the user experience and maximize sales
  • Participate in product planning and strategy discussions
  • Help us grow the business in unexpected ways

Requirements

  • You have a minimum of five (5) years of business development experience
  • You have a Bachelor's degree or extensive experience in real estate
  • You have successfully met quarterly KPIs / OKRs with demonstrated success at driving net new revenue
  • You've prospected new partner relationships and negotiated new contract agreements
  • You are comfortable in driving results throughout the entire life cycle (on-boarding, implementation, product feedback, upsell)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good charisma and communication skills
  • Excited about early stage opportunities

This is a great role for someone who wants a high-leverage, revenue-generating role at a high-growth company, with potential to define company strategy and potentially get some management experience if they’re successful.</p> <h3>What you’ll be doing: </h3><p>This will be a critical role that drives our growth in 2021 and beyond. At a high level, <br></p><ul> <li>Identifying and engaging with high-value target partners.</li> <li>Product management: define the implementations for new partners, optimizing them to drive loan volume for Wisetack, and provide compelling business results for partners.</li> <li>Define economic structures for new partners that align incentives and drive results.</li> <li>Project-manage internally with supporting teams, including product management, finance, analytics, legal, and customer success.</li> <li>Ensure excellent service and communication from Wisetack to our partners; ensure excellent representation of our partners to internal Wisetack stakeholders.</li> <li>Influence selling, messaging, and positioning strategy and help define company-level goals for new deal signings, launches, and loan volume.</li> <li>Negotiating contracts and setting partners up for success as they start integrating.</li> </ul><p>This role is best for someone who can take inputs and business goals from multiple areas (our internal goals; partner goals; merchant goals) and design an optimal solution.</p> <p>The right candidate will be intellectually curious, hardworking, self-starting, customer-oriented, and will always prioritize integrity over short term results.</p> <h3>Experience: </h3><ul> <li>4+ years, at least 2 of which are in sales, business development, partnerships, or product management (level will be calibrated to the candidate)</li> <li>Experience with field service software, invoicing software, or point of sale lending/payments is a plus.</li> <li>If you meet some of the criteria but not all, we encourage you to apply.
